About Us

We are the Conellys. Welcome to our blog!

Andrew and I met while living in the same apartment complex in Provo. Andrew was finishing up school at BYU, and I was a BYU graduate just working and taking advantage of super cheap rent while I was still single. We lived in the ward for three years, and while we crossed paths a couple of times, we didn't really meet until we were put in the same Family Home Evening group in January of 2012. Our apartments became friends, and in May, Andrew started taking particular notice of me. Though I wasn't sure I really wanted to date him, I said yes when he asked me out, and that one date was all it took to win me over.

We were engaged four months later, and we were married in the Draper Temple on February 19, 2013. It was a bright, beautiful, windy day, and I couldn't have been happier.

I graduated from BYU in December of 2008 with a degree in English and a minor in editing. I currently work as the proposal manager at Health Catalyst in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a voracious reader, and I'm sure mentions of the many books I read will make their way onto this blog. I also love writing in my journal and blogging. Music is definitely my drug, and I can't live without it. Going to concerts is one of my very favorite things to do, and I've been to some incredible ones, most notably Paul McCartney and Mumford & Sons. I am a BYU football fanatic and will be making Andrew get season tickets with me this fall. I also love to travel and experience new places.

Andrew graduated from BYU in April of 2012 with a degree in photography, and he takes incredible pictures. He is currently working as an installation technician at Comcast. He loves guns and going shooting whenever he gets the chance. He is also a voracious reader, so our library is already fairly impressive. He loves video games and watching random History and Discovery channel shows. He also enjoys cooking, which is great for me. He frequently kicks me out of the kitchen while he's making dinner.

We're two people who are completely in love with each other, and while we know marriage isn't going to be easy, we also know that it is totally worth the effort.
